A Word from our Directors:

“While it is impossible to imagine the horror that is associated with being sold or abducted into sex slavery or exploitation, we must try to make the connection of every boy or girl personal enough in our mind, so it forces us to get involved, on some level, and help break the cycle of exploitation the world over.

I wish every child’s story came with a storybook ending, but they don’t. Millions of children have died from sexual exploitation around the world, while few people join the fight against this unthinkable evil, and do something about it.

I have been to the very heart of this evil industry – the golden triangle of Asia, and have visited the Rescue Houses, that rescue (salvage), and lovingly care for hundreds of children, who would otherwise be lost – to suffer unthinkable abuse at the hand of the worst people on earth. I thank God for the brave men and women who put their lives on the line – every day – to salvage these precious lives.

Director Bios:

Dr. Tom & Candy Cannon are the directors of Salvaged Child & Destiny Ministry. This is their bio.

DR. TOM CANNON

Dr. Tom is an anointed speaker, author, prophetic minister, Bible College director, and the president of Destiny Ministries, and ministers in churches, international Pastor’s Conferences and prophetic presbyteries worldwide. Dr. Tom is also the director of Calvary School of Ministry, in Johnson City, TN.

Tom has written seven books, numerous Christian college courses, and Bible study guides. (See our online bookstore). His books aim to help strengthen every member in the body of Christ. Books that Tom has written include: Two Faces in the Mirror, We Speak to Nations, Changing Natures, and Practical Leadership. Tom was born in Portland, Oregon, became a licensed minister in 1980; ordained in 1984, and has pastored in various ministerial positions since 1978. Through the years he served as Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor, Director of a Christian School and Daycare, Senior Pastor, Director of Christian colleges, and is currently the director of Destiny Ministries.

In 1991, Tom earned his Bachelor of Theology degree from International Seminary, and his Master’s and Ph.D. from Covenant Bible College & Seminary.

CANDY CANNON

Candy Cannon is an anointed speaker, prophetic minister, and co-director of Destiny Ministries. Candy ministers in churches, prophetic gatherings (presbyteries) and women’s conferences through the USA. Her greatest passion is ministering to the church, and seeing believers strengthened and transformed by Him.

Candy was born in Muskegon, Michigan, became a licensed minister in 1986; ordained in 1993, and pastored in various ministerial positions since 1978. Through the years she has served as Youth Pastor, Director of Children’s Ministries, Women’s Ministries Director, Co-Pastor, and is currently the co-director of Destiny Ministries.

Candy earned her Master of Theology degree from Covenant Bible College & Seminary.
